What is the minimum number of players needed to play?
The MINIMUM number of players is FOUR (4). NO EXCEPTIONS.  You MUST arrive with a MINIMUM of FOUR (4) players in order to play the game.

 

Are children allowed?
The minimum age allowed to play our escape games is 8 years old, NO EXCEPTIONS. If ANYONE in your group is between the ages of 8 and 17 years old, an adult (18+) MUST either play the game with the minor(s) or remain in the lobby for the duration of the game.

 

How can I book a Game?
We are open 7 days a week starting at 9 a.m. daily. We accept online and phone reservations booked at least 3 hours in advance. To check availability and reserve your game, Click Here

 

How far in advance should I book my game?
We allow bookings until 3 hours before the game time, but to ensure you get the date and time you prefer, we recommend booking 1-2 weeks in advance.  This is especially true of night and weekend games.

 

How long before my scheduled time do I need to arrive?
In order to be considered "on time," you MUST arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled ticket time in order to complete our electronic waivers and watch the instructional video. Late arrivals may be admitted, but your 60-minute window cannot be extended so you will have less game time. No refunds will be offered for late arrivals or no-shows.

 

Will we really be locked in a room?
The door you enter from acts as both an entrance and an emergency exit and is never locked. However, if you must leave through this exit, the game will end immediately.

 

Is it scary like the haunted house?
Although some games are horror-themed, we wouldn't classify them as scary, except for The Asylum. There aren't actors and scares like the haunted house.

 

How much does an escape game cost?
Each game costs $32 per person, plus tax.

 

Can I pay in cash on arrival?
No, we do not accept walk-ins or allow pay upon arrival. In order to book a room, the balance must be paid in full at the time of booking.

 

I made a reservation, but I can't make it, what do I do?
We understand that things can come up. If you can't make a reservation or need to make changes to it, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to the reservation for a full refund. No refunds for no-shows, cancellations, or reduced players within 24 hours of the scheduled game. Any corporate/ team building/ large party booking that received the corporate/private party discount MUST give 72 hours notice in order to make any changes or to cancel.

 

I have a health condition, is it safe for me to play?
It really depends... some health conditions may pose considerable safety risks. If you have a pacemaker, severe heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, are pregnant, or have a physical disability that makes standing, crawling, or climbing difficult, we may politely ask you to not participate. Remember, our staff reserves the right to refuse anyone for any reason.

 

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing that you wouldn't mind getting a little dirty.

 

Where do we park?
Please park in one of the parking spots marked "13th Gate Parking Only" in the parking lot across from the 13th Gate Haunted House. If they happen to be full, the rest of the lot is paid parking operated by Baton Rouge Parking.
